In Late 2015, Ivest and Ray Stanton bought North Frontenac Telephone Company (NFTC), based in Sharbot Lake, Ontario. It is one of the very few independent telephone companies left in Ontario.

NFTC has customers in Sharbot Lake, London, Guelph, Peterborough, Halliburton, Minden, and various towns in Southwestern Ontario.
